In all the years I have had a Santander account I have got 75p. 50p from Burger King many years ago and 25p from Card Factory this year. As above, very little of interest to me. Often get Morrisons but the closest is 40 miles.

It's unlikely the Morrisons offer would behave like the Spar one does, anyway. I have just checked the 10% Morrisons offer currently active on my Virgin Money - it excludes giftcards. I wouldn’t expect different terms for the Morrisons offer at Santander

Morrisons has excluded gift cards via their Cashback offers with American Express and Curve too. That's why I was surprised to hear about the Spar one not having that condition.
I have a 10% Spar offer with Santander and Halifax currently.
Time to get some better returns, I think 😊0 -
Just as a little tip with on card cashback - regardless of what the terms say, if you can buy a gift card and it appears on your statement the same as a general purchase, whichever bank or cashback scheme is paying the cashback has no way of knowing your purchase is ineligible, and you will get the cashback. (Although if you don't, and you submit a receipt as part of a claim, you may find it is rejected.)
The offer screenshotted above is online only, and Morrisons don't sell gift cards through their Morrisons Groceries website, so obviously no way of getting cashback on giftcards there.
In general online gift card purchases are more likely to be pushed through a separate merchant ID and/or MCC to their normal online sales so it's less likely to work.1
