Your word is evidence, the reliability of which will assessed by the Court. It can be as compelling as written evidence if you are believed to be telling the truth.

Thank you, I am sorry for missing this, English is not my native language. I really appreciate you taking the time to reply, just one more question please. Should I just note the fact that I was feeling poorly and I used their toilet facilities to try and freshen up and see if it was safe for me to drive.
