Halifax wont have none of it. I’m trying to close my instant saver and they keep saying to me go to branch , they’ve suspended my internet access , and they told me I can transfer 25k per day but I can’t as I got no access !?!!
I seriously don’t know what to do here , has anyone been through this before ,

Have you tried going into a branch?1

This sounds as though it isn't really about closing your account, but about accessing the funds in there (and you see closing the account as a way to force this). If they have blocked online access and this cannot be reinstated in branch then its likely that you are under AML investigation. Have you had any strange or dubious looking transactions pass through any of your accounts with Halifax recently?1

I want to access my money so I can move it to a different savings account as there rates are rubbish.I transferred £22,000 to my daughter but that shouldn’t make any bother as I did it in branch0 -
Unfortunately, this sounds like yet another case of having to wait until the investigations currently underway have been concluded.
It's not likely to speed up the investigations but it might eventually result in a small amount of compensation (e.g. £20) if you raise a formal complaint https://www.halifax.co.uk/contactus/how-to-complain.html0 -

You seem to be having a lot of trouble with bank transfers - you mention Lloyds above and now Halifax.
Is it possible that you have triggered money laundering checks?1 -

If there was no investigation going on, your online access would not have been blocked, you wouldn't have been advised to go to a Branch, and the Branch wouldn't have been unable to help you.Standingstrong said:

Banks are prohibited from telling you about investigations. As you can see from other posts on this forum, it happens again and again, with a range of banks, for a range of suspected reasons. My own Santander online access was blocked the other day after I attempted a large payment to a new payee but their investigation was over quite quickly so my access got restored. If you aren't guilty of any wrongdoing, there is nothing to fear about. Please refer to my earlier post.2
