Virgin media broadband 50Mbps

I haggle with Virgin media every 18 months to try and get the best price I can. 

I've just gotten quite a shock at just how much I managed to get the payment down to: £15 per month. 

For my last contract the lowest I could get was £28 per month which by the end of the 18 months had slowly risen to £31.25. 

The only thing I'm aware that I did different was to request that line rental be removed from my package, as I have never owned a home phone. I have requested this in previous years and gotten no where but somehow got transferred to a different department this time and they were more than obliging.

Posting this partly to brag but also to help people so they know what to aim for when the ring up and haggle.

There is a good deal for Vodafone ATM (£22pcm 67Mbps new customers only) which I also used to negotiate. 

Never accept the first price they offer you!
