It hadn't occurred to me to look on ebay for choccie making stuff - is there much there?

there is quite few moulds around, that one i got with the xmas tree on it was £2 in a sale in a ebay shop. The majority are reasonably priced, but not bargains, as I would like them to be :rotfl: but have a look, search with molds and moulds, brings up different things

Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

I made half an egg this morning and it went ok. I put it in the freezer to set quicker. Anyone thinking of doing this dont. It obviously got moisture on it so when I put the next layer of choc on it seized and I could not brush it about.

I am just trying again and letting it set in the living room which is a bit cooler than the kitchen. Only takes about 5-10 mins to get to a point where I could put another layer of choc on.

Also when you put the choc in the mould and brush it round to the edges remember to tap the mould to get the chocolate to settle and get rid of air bubbles. I forgot the do that first time round.

I will post a pic if this one turns out well.
