Dreaded message from EVRI
Comments
-
Well my email to CEO seems to have got some action, a customer services person got back to me, asked for a description and is looking into it.
Hopefully it will now be delivered.
Email I used... martijn.delange@hermes-europe.co.uk0 -
Customer services have now deamed the parcel as lost so I told the buyer to claim not received and have refunded him.
Also filled in the claim form for EVRI to refund me, sold price plus their postage cost. Thank goodness I insured it at the correct value, it is tempting not to.1 -
Well today I got the full insured amount paid into my bank plus the £13 odd I paid EVRI. So although I am upset they lost the parcel they dealt with the claim in reasonable time without any hastle.2

Received message saying my parcel was on its way then another saying it had been rerouted. Later that day received message saying it would be delivered the next day. Next day 7am message received saying parcel would not be coming then either. Chat bot not helpful so requested call back on contact page asking where my parcel was as I had the name of the man who should have been delivering it. Parcel delivered within the hour. Delivery man very apologetic as van had broken down day before (?meaning of rerouted) - unsure whether Evri did not have enough vehicles to give him a replacement. Don't blame the delivery man.

I’ve had that sort of message a few times. It’s not usually a problem. On one occasion they promised it for a Sunday, it turned up on Saturday (Saturday before, not after😹)0
