    Do not ignore.

Follow the guidance here and even if you lose in court there will be no lasting CCJ.

The 'J' stands for Judgment. A Judgment is made after a court hearing.

We are saying you CAN IGNORE a CST letter but later on, if you get a court claim you just defend it like everyone else here does.

Read a few threads about court claims and defences.  It's easy enough. We do this every day.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So it’s saying they will take to court if no paid by a certain date that has expired. Do I respond or ignore; please be kind and help. All the information is about different situations and I’m so confused x

What didn't you understand in @Umkomaas's reply on 16 August at 8:12PM?

    He clearly stated:
    They won't 'go to court'.

You then introduced confusion by mentioning 'the council'.

    @Coupon-mad then explained:

You are now waiting to see if the parking company decide to sue you.
They have up to six years from the date of the parking incident to do that.

You have told us nothing about the parking incident - not even who the parking company is - so it's quite difficult to know what will happen next.

Keep following the guidance in the NEWBIES thread.

I understand your confusion.  As said, in the case of CST Law ,,, they have a very bad history

HAVE A READ OF THIS THREAD

You will see in the thread that CSTLaw mail bombed Scotland on behalf of UKPC ?
Once scottish MP's were alerted it all stopped.

What is being said is just wait and if you get a REAL court claim come back here. It is doubtful but it could happen. Judges do not approve of money scammers and especially those who add fake amounts as CSTLaw are doing

It is very sad to say that CSTLaw are BPA members who approve such rubbish

    Just to confirm,

    Ignore CST Law
Ignore any and all debt collectors
The vehicle keeper should complain to the landowner and to their MP
Do not ignore a court claim

... and please, will you tell us the name of the PPC, and please confirm that you have read the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES.
