it is on the "to do" list for watt-app, though. Of course if you run Android or Windows as I do that's not much use as watt-app is iOS.
  • If you (or a friend) like playing with Python code, you can actually talk to each plug device to get quite a lot of data from them. Just Google 'fishbigger p110 python' and go to the first GitHub link for example code.

I have mine set up to poll each devices around my network and store all the data in text files. You can then do as you like in whatever tool, eg: Excel, to calculate costs, plot data, etc.

for users of this device. does the "current power" automatically refresh? i had assumed it would maybe have a 10 second refresh or similar but it seems stuck unless i do something manually.

No, you have to do something to get it to refresh. The Watt app shows live consumption.

Don't rely on these plugs shutting off your power.

I'm just in the process of sending one back as even when turning off the power in the app or on side of the plug, the device connected remains powered on.

Quite a few reviews stating similar on Amazon

If you close that device on the app and then reopen it, it seems to give a new current number. Keep in mind you also have the number for the last day and 30 days which might help you understand roughly your usage.

I had a look at that site and have come up with an output on my raspberry pi like this.

Now to make sense of it.
