Paying in to a range of ISAs during a tax year?

I know I can't pay in to a couple of cash ISAs within a tax year. So for example, I could pay in to 1 cash ISA but I couldn't pay in to this one and then this one in the same year.

I'm wondering though about:
Could I pay in to each of these throughout the same tax year or not? I'm not too sure whether the stocks & shares LISA and the stocks & shares ISA are treated the same?

You can mix ISA managers when it's a different classification of ISA.  e.g. cash, LISA and S&S ISA.

Thanks. That's good to know that I've got the green light then.

Obviously all combined can't exceed the £20k limit, I get that.

You say mix ISA managers. I'm assuming you can open a S&S LISA and a S&S ISA with the same manager e.g. AJ Bell? Doesn't have to be a different manager?

    Thanks

I was expecting a bit of a yes/no. I was thrown a little when dunstonh said mixing managers.
