The gas use is also very high for spring and summer months. Can you read your meters today so we can see how much gas and electricity you have used since May while the weather is hot and the heating it switched off? (I assume the heating *is* switched off?)At the moment, when we use gas to heat water we're using less than 10kWh/day.
I did a meter reading yesterday:
Since 23 May have used 1605kWh of gas, so equates to almost 20kWh/day, double your usage. So that is just for hot water. Approx £1.46/day
Electricity 2827kWh since 23 May, approx £9.80/day
Same months we used 900kwh of electricity per month including about 2000 ev miles (say 275 per month on the car), again with kids who like their entertainment and gaming and me working from home most days.
Our American fridge freezer is rated 1kwh per day but I bet used more in the heat this summer.I think....0 -
I've just compared your bill to ours at the exact same time of year between 1st April - 23rd June. You averaged 44.75kWh per day for gas, whilst we averaged 13.35kWh.You averaged 31.77kWh per day for electric, whilst we averaged 4.96kWh.We use gas for cooking as well as heating a cylinder of hot water each day (no combi). 4 bed detached house with 2 adults, 1 child. Granted it's newer than yours (2000) however we're not using any heating during this period. Hopefully it may help you see what could be possible. We were not particularly careful with energy - something that has now changed in the run up to the apocalypse.4

1980's houses were not known for their energy efficiency so if nothing has been done to update keeping the heat in it will be like burning pound notes and will explain a lot of the excess gas usage in winter.
Summer months may seem ok for just heating water but when the central heating comes on that's when it just leaks out the house.
Unless there is an indentical house in the same street, same orientation with the same people, doing the same things at the same times using the same appliances then anyone elses figures are not really helpful.
Get to know your base usage when you are not there and build in what everything costs with the Tapo p110 and then you are unlikely to be surprised in the future. Your base load may be considered high to other users but they are not you, living the lives your family lives. But knowing what's using what and when will just give you peace of mind👍1 -

Similarly electricity, they are choosing to run more electronic stuff than you are. You don't get much hoovering, laundry, tv, cooking, computer etc for 5kwh per day.I think....0 -
