Barclaycard's replace a damaged card - does the number change?

    Yes. This is my experience as well. If you call in then the agent will tend to mark it down as lost, as being the safer choice, and you will get a  partial new number.
  • Replacement card, all details remain the same as current , may be a new CCV number on the back x 
  • This is different from my experience and I wonder if it is because I have always called in and not done the online form
    I’ve always had a new long card number if I ever lost a card or needed to replace. 

    Never heard of a bank sending a new card out with same 16 digit card number ? They may change the last 4 digits but keep the 3rd to last card details the same
