Barclaycard's replace a damaged card - does the number change?

Yes. This is my experience as well. If you call in then the agent will tend to mark it down as lost, as being the safer choice, and you will get a partial new number.0

Replacement card, all details remain the same as current , may be a new CCV number on the back x
