It's my humble opinion, and a couple of other folk agree with me, that the "Money Saving Mums" and "Money Saving dads" forums are unhelpful and should be rebadged. The mums' group is filled with topics (e.g. days out with kids) that are not specifically relevant to mums, which may mean people miss them or feel excluded. The dads' forum contains more male-oriented subjects, but some of them (e.g moustache maintenance) are relevant to non-dad males who again may miss out. I do see the point of gender-specific topics and support (especially for men as has been pointed out), but if these are considered desirable they should be rebadged as "Men's Matters" and "Women's Stuff". Either have a non-gender specific "parenting" forum or let that stuff swill around in the general area.
