Marketplace - Online Promotional Store?

Am I in the right place?

   I searched for an electrical item on Marketplace and found one at less than a third of the retail price not too far away.. 
   Asking about the amount of use it had had, I was told that it was new.  They were an Online Promotional  Store and the product is sent from the warehouse;  would I like them to send me the link?  They had only been on Facebook since 2022 and apart from approx 6 other items, there was nothing on their profile.  
   Am I right to be worried  ?

I’ve seen this mentioned somewhere recently , I’m not sure it was on MSE though. In that instance it was a scam, a random piece of junk arrived with tracking to ensure that any INR claim via PayPal or a credit card would be almost possible to go ahead with. I generally treat anything on marketplace as dodgy until proved otherwise but in case I’m just being paranoid ask some where questions about payment and safety etc.
