Big problem with selling my camera on Ebay (item swapped)

I wouldn't say that proves anything.

Realistically, if someone opens something in the home, then replaces said items, there is no way as a seller you can know.  Just like people who buy mobile phones, replace the phone with some stones and send it back to the seller.  Unless the seller took the IMEI number, they have lost their item.  It's fraud, people do it and many people do it with no concience.

But good for coming back and updating us.

Given the OP packaged it. They know their own packaging.
So if a delivery image shows different packaging before the buyer gets the item. Its fairly conclusive it happened before the buyer got it.

Thanks OP for coming back with an update. 
I thought this was 100% a scammer buyer, but fair play it is the courier after all. That delivery photo is so useful.
Whenever I sell on ebay I now take a photo of the item going inside its box, then as the packaging is done & finally another  once everything is sealed up with postage label attached. That way you have proof of the contents & the condition that it entered the delivery network. Its a shame we have to do this, but it gives some small chance of getting justice, rather than none.
