Using Virgin Airmails in Europe

I read that they have partnerships with Air France and KLM but I cant see how I am meant to use my points on flights with them.
Both of them say they do the route I am looking for but when I search via Virgins site it says there are no flights for the route.
Does anyone know how they work?

There are limited availability of flights using just air miles. Probably have to check early as soon as the flights become available 11 months before the flight. Just because they have partnerships, routes and flights doesn't mean they have availability.0
