Does it say that on the signs around the car park?  How long did your partner stay within the car park - we need to see the entry and exit times which you have (rather inconveniently) scrubbed out?
Do i dispute it online or write to them please help.
Please read the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, first post, which explains exactly how to deal with this.  If you are the Registered Keeper of the vehicle, you deal with it, if your partner is the RK, they must deal with it.

    It is not a fine.

Plan A is always to complain to the landowner/managing agent and your MP.

Get photos of the site and signage, and see what the Ts and Cs say about parking and dropping off. What it doesn't say is just as important.

Appeal as per the advice in the sticky Announcement for NEWBIES.

It is not a fine, please read the stickies.  Have you complained to your MP?,

Hi there thankyou for your comments. Ive checked the letter again an can confirm the time an date listed is actually the day i went shopping but was there for around half hour. But we most definitly bougjt a ticket and displayed it. It says we was there for half hour without displaying a ticket. Is there any way to dispute this? Ive searched for the ticket and cant find it as proof. As any other person would do  its gone in the bin most likely as didnt think this would happen. Ive had dealings with astle park before where they have issued fines for something similar i wrote a letter ti the oark owners an heard nothing back. Please help as i need to reply soon. Also im on mpbile an cannot find the sticky thread a few have mentioned so if anyone could copy an paste what it says i there i would really appreciate it.

This forum doesn't work efficiently on a phone, you need a tablet as a minimum, laptop better, PC best.
