Neighbours guttering

Hi I need some advice as I'm not sure if it's normal or not. My neighbour has a pipe coming out out their house and then it runs down into my gutter. Are they allowed to do that? I don't know what the pipe is from and I don't want them blocking my gutter with their stuff. Noone lives there. The houses aren't even connected and neither are the gutters at that point. I don't understand why it can't just run into theirs.
Can I just remove the pipes that are on my property?

Don't do anything until you know for sure!
Are your houses semi or terraced? In either situation, is it quite common for the rainwater system to be shared, and that often means that the downpipe serving more than one property is on one person's land. That made/makes sense for the time, and the 'lucky' neighbour will have this either written into their deeds (as might yours), or will have gained an easement to continue doing so.
Yours sounds a bit different, tho', but it's hard to tell - any chance of a photo?

Do they have a down pipe that it could run into?
Is there space for it to be put in on their side?
I share guttering on a linked property and it's irritating because it depends on both of us keeping the gutters clean and my neighbour isn't inclined to do such herself.
So it's worth persuing this with some investigation. Do you know who owns the property so you can ask the reason and for any paperwork related to it?
This is something you should have asked on purchase. Would have saved a lot of your time and trouble.

I don't know how to upload pictures 😕  I get the shared gutter from rainwater as my last house was all shared but this actually comes out of their house!

It could just run down the roof of their extension into their own guttering and down pipe but for some reason it comes across to mine 🤔

Take photos, resize them to keep them under (I dunno?) 2MP, and then click on the wee 'postcard' icon along the top of the reply box - to the right of the piece of chain...
We really need a photo

Isn't that a drain from their bathroom?  Or??  it doesn't look like it's from a gutter going by the top photo.

So it could have been done with the previous owners permission.
Don't worry about it, it's not negatively affecting your property.

If you have just moved in and they might have asked the previous owners if they could do it. Why don't you just get civil and knock on and ask them what it is and why. Like normal neighbours. What is wrong with people.

It certainly looks like a drain from a bathroom. How long has this arrangement been in place ?

The neighbour needs to install a shoe on the bottom of the guttering over his extension (porch), and sort out the brickwork just above his side of the alley - That is a shocking bodge that will let water in and cause damp inside.
