    I think people who rely on dc pensions feel/are more vunerable to many circumstances out of their control (war in ukraine etc). Those in government backed db schemes are not affected by world events or market crashes. I can understand why those with dc only perhaps are over cautious. I have a bit of both, but would rather have the safety of db, i think that public employees vastly underestimated the value of their pension in terms if peace of mind.

    Not everyone on Pension Credit gets a free tv licence, you have to be over 75.  That means millions don’t.  

    Some of the financial help is available to all pensioners plus working age people on low income, not just those on PC

    You can get help with your rent and council tax if you have a low income, not just those on PC
