Ended up overspending yesterday at the gig. Total spent was £39.48 which in fairness isn't too bad considering the price of the drinks. Waiting for some surveys to get approved and once they do that'll net me about £18 so at least that pays for half of the cost :)

Had a rare Saturday off work today and even though I was slightly worse for wear I still managed to push myself and went for a run. It's amazing how much progress I've made since my first run - I'm now running more than walking so it's a big step up. Definitely challenging but I still did it :)

Working tomorrow and Monday, then have another busy weekend at another gig. Going to utilise my time off this week and try to organise my things for when Uni starts again in September.

The gig was a celebration and believe me you'll look back on things like that later in life and wonder why you didn't do them more often.

Totally agree! It's lovely to have things to look forward to after a busy few months with Uni/work.

    ---------
Have spent £29.52 over the past few days on petrol, food and a card. I'm a little angry at myself as I've had to buy a meal deal today at work as I didn't realise I had run out of sandwich filling! Lack of preparation on my part but at least I'm acknowledging it rather than avoiding like I would have done in the past.
I also managed to cash out £18.85 today.

Not sure how I've calculated the weekly costs but I only have around £70 pw with the amount currently in my account as opposed to the £90 I planned for. Hopefully won't spend loads this weekend but will probably go out for a meal before the concert. Will try to keep to my weekly spend amount (£70) as much as possible! I'm hoping for some leftovers so I can deposit them into my CC.

Veggies are looking good (although the tomato plant.. not so much..). Hope you're all enjoying the sunshine. I picked up an extra shift today and what a day it has been.
Very eventful and I'm glad to be finished.

Well done on cashing out the money and the extra shift. Life isn't easy is it... Good that you have positive things to balance it.

I am - but I'm considering moving. I've found the perfect house - but am trying to get them to knock the price down a lot... Not heard back since my enquiry on Monday first thing. In theory I'm madly getting my house ready to actual photograph and put on the market. In practice I'm majorly struggling with procrastination.

    Oooo fingers crossed for you!
Know how you feel re procrastination... maybe set yourself a timer for 20mins and see how far you get? Sometimes helps me feel more motivated. :)

Thanks Daisy - yeah - I do try those kind of things. Just having a coffee break after cleaning some previously painted tiles ready for painting again. I paid a handyman to help me yesterday and he took the paint off the peeling tiles - about 30. I now need to recoat all the kitchen tiles unfortunately as the colour has changed in the three years since they were last painted. At least I had a tin of left over tile paint. I also got him to sand down some drawer fronts where I'd got latex paint from my hobby on them. I then realised to my horror that I couldn't find the special paint that I had for that... And so it goes on...  Tasks seem to multiply.

The biggest problem in my house has been clutter. I've been getting far more on top of that. The current problem is more too many unfinished jobs - plus weeds mushrooming in the garden every time I look around. I am the master of starting a diy project in multiple rooms at once rather than finishing one. So the clutter is too boring to deal with - so I'd rather go and paint the shed etc... Never quite finish painting the banisters (from 2 years ago - cough).

Just calculated my spendings for last week and I was under budget by £9.22 which isn't too bad considering we went out for food and drinks before the concert on Friday. I also had 2 NSD's which takes me to 6/10 days this month. Picked up an extra shift on Sat to cover someone so hopefully that overtime will be included in my pay (which is on Thursday - feel like this month hasn't been too long thankfully!)

Spent £7.62 today on a gaming subscription which I will add in as part of my weekly expenditure (budget is £70). Hoping to come under the budget and then I will add whatever remains in my account to my CC on Thurs when I get paid.

I made a payment of £25 off my CC which brings the total down to £767.52. I've got £5 waiting to be approved on Prolific and I have also sold some clothes on Vinted which will net me about £10. Will add both of those payments to my CC once they clear.

I am off work today and tomorrow and then have a busy week, working 6 days in a row. Only a couple of weeks until we go on holiday so need to sort out my packing and money for that. Hoping the overtime I'm working at the min will cover holiday costs.
