I’m sure that there’s a good market for bungalows in Bognor. I’m not so sure about that bungalow at that price, though. Four bedrooms, needing a shedload of work. That could linger on the market at the best of times.
I don't know. I confess I know little about house prices.GDB2222 said:Are you satisfied that the property has been priced sensibly for the current market?
Here is a link to the property:
https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/128032331It may appeal to someone downsizing, who won’t need a mortgage.I’m unimpressed by the steps up to the front door, as someone looking for a bungalow may well have trouble with steps, but there’s plenty of space to install a ramp.
As someone that had that area in mind when we were searching, I can confirm it's a good price for what it is, particularly with the size of the plot.
It's bungalow heaven round there.

One concern I have is regarding the wet-room. My grandmother replaced the bath with that a few years before she died. Clearly it's perfect for someone who wants one, but I suspect it limits the market appeal as most would probably want a bath.GDB2222 said:

I'm not sure about that - in general it might be true, but the market for bungalows is skewed towards the elderly and/or those with mobility problems, and to them a wet room could be seen as a considerable bonus, especially compared to a bath that they may struggle to get into and out of.

I wouldn't be overly concerned about that. IT looks as though there is plenty of spare for a bath so it wouldn't be hard for someone who wanted one to put one in. Speaking as someone who does love a proper bath, I would only be put off if the space wasn't large nough to be able to put in a bath. Looking at the listing it looks as though the house is generally rather dated but is deent condition, so I would imagine that any buyers would be expecting to do some updating anyway, and reinstating a bath if they want one isn't a massive job. Plus, bungalows are often attractive to those who are getting older and less mobile so there may well be some potential buyers for whom it would be a plus that the wetroom has already been set up !
