Questions About HSBC (UK) and Lloyds Banking Apps

    I found the apps for both pretty clunky but still better than the online portals. But I do bank with Starling so all the legacy banks apps are poor in comparison

    I've used the Lloyds a couple of times for transfers and all went smoothly. So far I like it!

    Regarding security, would using banking apps via my home wifi be any more secure than accessing the banks' websites via my home wifi? Or is it the same risks?

    My mobile in an old PAYG Sim and don't use it enough to justify moving onto a monthly contract (with data etc).
