BGas electricity account - smart meter; how do I change my meter reads frequency setting?

    I'll also be hassling them monthly on chat with my readings, and have a spreadsheet too.
    They said they could only add my readings to my account if they raised a bill (another hmmm). But monthly billing rather than every 6 months... sure...it doesn't change anything for me, but makes work for themselves. Hey ho.
    Have I read of some BG customers being migrated over to another system, or did I get mixed up with another company (and I'm not thinking of EON / EON Next)? Might be worth a search on the forums, as it could explain why you're not seeing the same layout on your account.
    Or just throw your hands up in despair like I do.

    @vic_sf49 I've sunk past despair.

    Apparently a smart meter is meant to make my life easier - could have fooled me.  Pre smart meter I just read the meter, NOW I have to push a button and read the meter, and you have to be quick about it as it cycles round various readings.

    Just as I think that BGas is getting to grips, it all goes pear shaped.
