I suspect it will very much depend on why it has fallen out. If the tooth is starting to fracture and decay, then no filling is ever going to stay in but only the dentist will be able to advise.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0

Depends what you eat. The majority of failed and broken fillings is down to breaking them on something eaten.Alderbank said:
