Hi. 5 years ago I got new boiler ,3 years ago I got shower connected to it. It'd been working like a dream. Last week shower water lost a bit of pressure, its not great any more and every two minutes or so it gets cold for a couple of seconds and goes back to being hot after that. I noticed it more today as took long shower due to washing hair ;) boiler seems fine, pressure on it is fine too. This issue started just when scottish water dug out a hole next to my house. I contacted them and apparently there are no issues in my area  . Coincidence? I really dont know what has happened and why. The only thing that is different to previous years is that boiler heating has been off since April this year.  Anyone?

Try running a bath and see if the same thing happens, if it does it's the boiler, if it doesn't it's the shower.

If the problem is only with the shower, then it's the shower, not supply.
Is it a thermostatic shower? If so, I'd suspect the thermostatic valve.

Post a photo (and the model if known) for a better advice from local experts.

Might just need the filters in the feed pipes cleaning, if debris has got into the pipes if utility company been working on the main.

The pressure gauge on your boiler shows the pressure in the sealed CH circuit, assuming this is a combi. Nothing to do with your cold water pressure, which may or may not be the problem. if the pressure fluctuates, the burner will cut out if it goes too low.
But equally likely to be a scaled up shower valve. Remove, and clean or replace.

If it's Scottish Water area very unlikely. There are very, very few hard water areas in Scotland.
More likely as plumb1_2 suggests debris clogging filters - but the solution for both is the same - strip, clean/replace.

    Left and right.
If it's a normal shower they are hot and cold water valves.
If it's a thermostatic shower one is a flow control valve and another is a temperature control (thermostatic) valve.
I have a feeling that you need a plumber or a handyman.
