Lycamobile - No incoming calls and texts after porting to Lyca

Joined Lycamobile in mid July and filled out the port in form to transfer my mobile number. The process was completed after 2 days. Since then I had no incoming calls and texts. Obviously this is massive inconvenient, as been using my number for over 10 years. Even had difficulty with text authentication when login to online services.

I contacted customer service over 7 times, all they can do is send a message to technical dept. to resolve. No one contacts me or seem to have the power to do anything. I've used the Resolver tool to send a complaint but not heard back.

Has anyone had a similar issue and got this resolved. I'm fed up and not sure if I leave Lyca for another provider and port my number would hamper or resolve the problem.

You need to find out where the problem is, it could an issue with your old supplier not releasing the number properly rather than Lyca not doing their bit.
Try contacting your old network and see what they say.  If they say the number has been released without anything wrong at their end you need Lyca to escalate it to server/network support (whatever they call it) for a fix.

Trying to port out with a problem could make it much worse!!
