Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

So they have emailed saying they wish to proceed and advised me to complete the court forms when received. They have attached a version of theirs. They have said without prejudice may be prepared to settle and to contact them seven days.
My inclination is to acknowledge receipt and note that we do not believe a settlement is achievable given the keeper does not believe she owes them any money. Sound about right?0 -
SAR shows very little and certainly does not enlighten us any further as to who the driver is.0

All standard stuff trying to mug you. We have seen these so many times before they discontinue
You have a choice, either ignore them or say "see you in court"

Item 7 on that checklist you were following when a Defence was filed says...The rest of that checklist might be worth another read.

Thanks Keith. I have re-familiarised myself. Re the court questionnaire, we’ve not yet received one. Not sure how long it usually takes but will likely complete one and just send it now0
