LIVING IN SUPPORTED HOUSING. BEING THREATENED WITH EVICTION.

I Have Been Living in Supported Housing for 2 and a half years now. Pretty Much Same Routine Day to Day. Recently Neighbours from Across The Road Have Been Complaining of Loud Music. Without Being informed even once I Have been Handed a Final Warning and I was Wondering what i Should do next? also if they do try to evict me, how long would i be able to stay in the property?

    Have you been listening to really loud music?

    If yes, get some headphones.

    If no, write back and say they must have the wrong tenant as you do not listen to loud music.
    Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
    Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

    No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

    Well if you are playing your music too loud, then the obvious thing to do is turn the music down and then there will no longer be a threat of eviction on those grounds
    If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

    Speak calmly and politely to your landlord's organisation and find out what the process is from now on (if it's not already made clear in notice. which I suspect it is).

    If unable to work out what to do speak with / visit local citizens advice bureau

    If your being a nuisance then modify your behaviour

    If evicted you will be intentionally homeless and won't get picked up by the Council immediately (if at all)

    Eviction would be months down the line, as it requires a court order to evict you. If you are given notice by way of an S21 then the minimum notice period is 8 weeks. Only after that could the LL apply for a possession order, if you remained in occupation.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    But sooner or later the tenant would be out.  I assume that the OP wants to stay long term rather than a few months.

    Notice period: 2 months notice, time to get a possession order hearing, 8 months to a year at present, a month to evict after possession order granted...it would be next summer earliest before the OP was evicted.
    I don't think we've been given the whole story here, as it's not credible that the tenant would received a final warning  without any prior communication from the LL.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    I agree giving a tenant of Support Housing notice to quit is not something that council/charity/LL would take lightly and there would have been several informal conversations  before even a verbal warning. I think the OP has misinterpreted the situation.

    Until we read tenancy or license agreement we won't know what e.g. notice  terms are.

    paramount7force buy some wireless headphones, then you can hear what you are listening to as loud as you like without anyone else knowing what you are listening to or making complaints about the noise.  Then there will be no eviction or warnings. Its as simple as that.

    If there is no chance it is you making the noise then respond to whoever sent you the complaint and ask what evidence they have that you are making too much noise?  Normally neighbours have to keep log books for months, or there has to be evidence of visits from Environmental Health or wardens before a warning can be given.  Have there been any such visits?
