  • We are using Fine and Country Estate Agents and we had a quote from Fine and Country Conveyancing. When we signed up we found out we were actually using Premier Property Lawyers which explains why I couldn't find any reviews for Fine and Country Conveyancing. Sharp practise from Estate Agents - who would have thought...

I used a conveyancer with online portal which seemed a good idea to keep up to date with progress.

Fine in theory, but as the conveyancer didn't keep the portal up to date it was completely useless.

I would always use a local high street conveyancer in future.

Fine and Country isn't an Estate Agent, its just a licenced brand. One of the local agents in the area will pay the licence fee to F&C to use their branding, all just marketing smoke and mirrors.
  • the two i have used for this are GD Property Solicitors www.gdlegal.co.uk simple app that shows you through each step and o'neills conveyancing not bad found uploading docs a bit of a pain to the point of just emailing them but you can see where you are

on speed GD where a faster and better for comunication

o'neills i brought a house from and just got docs back from them and i brought that house pre covid
  • Remember to check the reviews on them. What I do is search on comparison site but check each on google review.

Some on the online search can be really terrible as some take on so many cases.
