Moving from Aldermore

Im sure I must be missing something really simple here, but for the life of me I cant see the answer, so would appreciate some help please . Ive a 30dy notice ISA account with Aldermore which I want to prepare to transfer somewhere else . I cant find how to put notice on it. Theres a move money option , which enables you to move out to your nominated bank acc either with or without penalty , but cant otherwise see how to get out and remain an isa. If I pick any ISA with any other provider , no matter what it is, it usually wants the transfer in within 28 days or so , but I have to do the 30 day notice first so thats not happening. Who is with this 30 day Aldermore acc , and has moved on ? What am I overlooking here please?

You give the notice on your new provider's ISA transfer form.

Yes but the new providers usually say they want it into the account they are offering to you , within c30days ? (quite often the acc isnt even offered for very long )0

Which provider does not accommodate a notice period on their transfer form?ANGLICANPAT said:Yes but the new providers usually say they want it into the account they are offering to you , within c30days ?

When I've had to fill out ISA transfer forms in the past, you normally get to either choose to carry out the transfer ASAP, on a certain date or there's an option to 'wait for the full notice period to end' (or words to that effect), the latter of which is normally aimed at Fixed Rate ISAs but also sounds like it could apply to Notice accounts too ?
I would check your Aldermore ISA T&Cs because they must mention what to do in respect to transfers and the notice period, surely ? In terms of the new ISA, providers usually state that the funding period doesn't apply once a transfer request is received and actioned, but I would contact the new provider to clarify this is the case with them.2 -
This is Leeds BS . Im probably reading it wrongly , Ive had my brain fried with family ill health this month, but it seemed like if the cash that was being transferred didnt arrive by 31st Aug , it might hit a discontinued offer.
Transferring your existing Cash/Stocks and Shares ISA to Leeds Building Society You can transfer in some or all of your previous tax year ISA savings (including 2022/2023 ISA funds deposited with another institution as long as these are not from an Innovative Finance ISA) without affecting your annual allowance for the current tax year, subject to the terms and conditions of your existing account. Deposits can be made up until 31 August 2022, after this date the account may be closed to further deposits at any time and without notice. On receipt of a transfer instruction from you, the Society will send it to the old ISA manager, together with confirmation that the Society will accept the transfer, within 5 working days of the date of receipt. On receipt of the cash and accompanying information from the old ISA manager, the Society will credit the cash to the ISA account within 3 working days of the date of receipt.
To be fair, I havent looked at the transfer form itself, just reading the details first.0 -

If not, then transfer to a standard easy access ISA, and from there you will be able to transfer onward without these issues.1
