Among the world's top-4 biggest developed economies -- US / Jp / Ger / UK -- the UK is outgrowing all of them, today, right now, as we speak.
See above. The BoE this century has an appalling forecasting record. Simply cannot believe anyone takes the BoE seriously anymore.
Many others are also noticing the same BoE pattern...

Didn't it fall the most recently too, so it's more of a bounce back from a lower level? That said, growth since Q4 2019 is still higher than Japan & Germany (though extremely low in all cases: 0.7 vs -0.6 and -0.9 respectively).Millyonare said:Among the world's top-4 biggest developed economies -- US / Jp / Ger / UK -- the UK is outgrowing all of them, today, right now, as we speak.

The IMF and OECD both put the UK second only to Canada for GDP growth in 2022:

However, as InvestorJones mentions, this needs to be taken in context with the UK suffering the largest fall in GDP of the G7 during the pandemic. The IMF shares the BoE's gloomy outlook for 2023, but note this forecast looks pretty bad for most countries.0 -
