How to chase easyJet please?

Our Easter return flight from Egypt was cancelled due to a technical issue earlier in the day so the staff had done too many hours to fly; we were put up in a hotel overnight and flight rescheduled for the next day I think about 21 hours later. But we specifically found a flight and paid a premium to fly back Easter Monday as the kids were back to school / us work on the Tuesday which obviously we missed so have requested compensation (as easyJet suggested we all do at the time). The claim checker on easyJet said a decision should be made in may but have still not heard anything, tried phoning but on hold for hours and completed the online form but nobody replies. How do you follow up please? Thanks

Hmmm, seems something might have got lost in the system.
You may need to stoke them up but reaching them might not be so easy at the moment.
Try esupport@easyjet.com.
There is also a Facebook group who have lost of disgruntled people on it that share (moans) ideals on claims. Search “Easyjet complaints process - not so easy”.
