Have just moved my mobile from Three to Plusnet , as Three sent me an e-mail saying that they were no longer offering my present tarriff and all the new offerings were not what I wanted
The e-mail said as they were stopping my present tarrif I could leave with no cancelation charges ,As my bill date is 15th of the month , and I finaly left Three on the 18th I expected to be charged for the three days before I left , however Ive been charged for the full month .
Im sure three charged in advance rather than in arrears ie the bill on 15th July is for 15th July to 14th Aug, but as soon as I left they blocked access to my account , so I cant download any old bills to check.
Is there anyone with Three who chan confirm that they charge in advance?
I know they say they need 30 days notice if you leave , but as its them who dumped me by changing their T&C , I dont see why I should pay for 30 days

Three do bill a month in advance.Your bill produced 15 July will have a charge for 15/07 to 14/08. The next bill produced 15/08 will show a charge for 4 days service (15/07 to 18/07) and refund you the rest of the month already paid.
No notice period is required if you are using a PAC code to swap to another provider and you are out of contract (or, as in this case, Three have said you can leave without penalty).
Do not cancel any DD or card arrangement until the refund has been paid.0
