Average Joe/Jane wouldn't be aware of all that! Requires much deduction for even someone as clued up as you!Bridlington1 said:
Those are the main 2 current accounts that TSB offer. The rest are the student, graduate and under 19's account. Student accounts are rarely if ever included in switching offers and instead tend to offer separate sign up offers. Graduate accounts rarely if ever offer switching incentives and I've never seen a switching incentive for a kids account. So I'd have thought it would be a given that if TSB offered a switching incentive it would be limited to these two current accounts.OceanSound said:
either that or the search feature is still naff.Bridlington1 said:
Not really. It does what it says on the tin. TSB are offering £180 if you switch to them, hence the title:OceanSound said:
Bad choice of thread title. No sign of it when I searched 'spend and save'!!Bridlington1 said:
This has already been discussed in the TSB £180 switch offer thread.OceanSound said:looks like the tsb spend and save account has started a switch offer. Saw it on the weekly MSE money tips newsletter todayTSB £180 switch offer
edit: Offer is specific to 'TSB Spend & Save or Spend & Save Plus account'. Tin needs to mention it!
Edit: I was aware that the offer was specific to those accounts because the MSE newsletter said that, so I searched for threads/posts that mention those accounts!0 -
The average Joe/Jane wouldn't have limited their options by searching for Spend & Save, they would have just searched for TSB.OceanSound said:

Try it. Search 'tsb'. Latest switch offer thread nowhere to be seen. A thread/post from 2017 titled 'tsb switch' appears at bottom of search results page.EarthBoy said:

Under Filter Results change "Sort By" to Newest instead of Best Match. The switch offer thread is the fourth one down.OceanSound said:

Still can't get my head round how a thread from 2017 with 825 views appear on 1st page of 'Best Match' search results whereas a thread posted on 6 October 2022 (recency is one of the aspects that come into play when working out 'best match') with 3.5k views is nowhere to be seen!!EarthBoy said:

I have TSB S&S account, since three months ago which are the conversion of the old TSB. So I do not get switching incentive as I did not do switching at that time. Am I correct to think that I am still eligible to get monthly £5 cashback for the rest of 3 moths as long as I pay monthly £500 and I use the Debitcard for at least 20X?0

You do not even need to pay in £500/mth. Just do the debit card payments and you'll get the £5 cashback.pantaiema said:I have TSB S&S account, since three months ago which are the conversion of the old TSB. Is there more evidence that TSB is only credit searching once a day and not for each individual application?0

Just looked at random via Totally Money, TSB , where I have made 2 applications within 24 hours period only 1 hard search shows.
Coop Bank, November application not showing despite not having any Coop accounts at that time.

If I remember correctly £5 reward for 20 DC payment valid for 12 month. I opened a new TSB Spend & Save ac a few days ago. I just notice that £5 reward for 20 DC payment is only valid for 6 month now is that correct, when did they start changing it ??0
