Problem with recurring Asda Bundles

My wife and I have recently transferred to Asda about 3 weeks apart. When my was first due to auto renew 3 weeks ago it failed and I had to manually log onto the Asda website and purchase the bundle. Now the same has happened to my wifes first bundle renewal today but she has tried to manually purchase  another bundle but it has failed twice, it comes up saying bundle successfully purchase but doesn't show on her account and says no active bundle.
Has anyone else experienced these issues? I just hope that she hasn't purchase twice but just no showing.

    Wife has just phoned Asda mobile and all they kept saying was that the recurring box wasn't ticked, well it was before today as after my experience a few weeks ago she checked. It may be that because the recurring payment failed it unticked the box. The call centre took card details for payment but for some reason the bundle can't be started today and she will get a call back tomorrow from the same lady to finish things off, all very strange. I also understand that for what ever reason the recurring didn't happen but why she was unable to manual buy one online is still a mystery.

    Good grief it is like groundhog day a month on from the failed recurring bundle issue above. A month ago my wife was phoned back and assured that the recurring bundle and payment details was set up. In the mean time we saw on our bank statement that she had been charged for the 'failed' attempts to buy a bundle manually 3 x £5, she emailed them 12 days ago to get a refund but we have had not had any response. Then she got a text this morning like last month saying that the bundle had failed to renew and their call centre isn't open until 10 am, we don't want to try and manually buy the bundle again in case that she is charged again without successfully getting the bundle.

    We will be moving away to another provider can do without this hassle for the sake of saving a few quid. My son has been with Giff Gaff for years changing bundles etc  without any hassle.
  • Exactly the same happening to me. EVERY month I get half a dozen texts informing me my bundle has failed to renew. I then have to go through the process of calling 2732 to get it sorted out, usually takes 30 minutes !!

    Same: every month this year. half an hour to sort out. Tried different payment cards. Unable to buy a bundle manually because there's "a bundle renewal pending". So left without service , have to top up, and then munch through the top up on PAYG rates.
    Asda Mobile has been great up until now.
