Hi all
i was about to submitted my defence but I’ve just seen I need to do this on week day?! Bute it’s due In tomorrow! 

Also at top of template says defendants name
but I thought I wasn’t meant to name anyone in the defence?

Also i should out through out defendant and driver as I was the driver ?

you have until 4pm on Monday 22nd August 2022 to file your Defence

Please post your proposed defence here - paragraphs 2 and 3 only (not the whole template). I think we should check it first, you have time for feedback before emailing it.

2. It is admitted that the Defendant and driver was the registered keeper of the vehicle in question.

3. The defendant distinctly remembers paying cash for this ticket and displaying said ticket in the wind screen and the defendant has a witness to this claim. The photos on the PCN notice on claim merely shows the car entering and leaving the car park, no proof of the no payment has been given. This claim is tainted by abuse and harassment and should not process to trail.  It is an abuse of process for a claimant to issue an inflated claim for a sum which it is not entitled to recover. The authorities could not be clearer.

This is what I have so far. Am I correct that only #2 and #3 need to be amended ?

In para 2 it is usual to say "It is admitted that the Defendant was the registered keeper and driver of the vehicle in question".

Typo... 'trail' or 'trial'?

Have you told us the name of the PPC, or have I been thick and missed it?

You only need to amend paras 2 and 3 unless you have more to add, but you must send the whole template.

Para 2 should read, keeper and driver.

This should be deleted from para 3. It's a rant, and the fake add-ons are already covered elsewhere in the template.

Inadequate signage is already covered, but it wouldn't hurt to mention that the charge for failing to comply with the Ts and Cs is either missing or unreadable, and not brought sufficiently to the attention of the driver.

I can't see either the name of the PPC or their trade association's logo either.

Thank you I have edited para 2 and the typo. Is #3 ok or are they just going to laugh at that for a defence!?

I am unsure about adding in signage as unfortunately I don’t live in Birmingham anymore so I friend took pictures for me and I can’t read the signs properly from photos.

I believe this sign has trade logo on?
But as for ppc I’m not sure what that is or if it on there !?
