Unfortunately I doubt that Octopus will let you add gas to the existing fix for electricity. You will need a new contract for this.

"Fixed" and "good" tariff is an oxymoron, especially with Octopus at the moment. They just don't offer anything that is not far more expensive than SVT as a fixed tariff.

You might want to look at gas tracker, even so the cap on it also has increased recently, making it less desirable.

Yes you can have gas & electric on different tariffs with Octopus, but it is worth asking if you can add the gas to your existing fix, worst case they say no, but never hurts to ask...
