Say why you were in the service yard.
Don't worry about CST Law. Same stable as Debt Recovery Plus and CST only rarely file claims after a LBC. There is a whole Group thread from months ago, about tedious old CST Law.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Soarfree said:hello it’s me again. About to send this to the retail park manager. Is it ok, or too identifiable saying the driver didn’t see the signs?I have been issued with a letter before claim for the sum of £320 from CST LawI was not driving the car at the time of the charges. The car was briefly parked in the service yard at McDonalds, on two occasions. The driver didn’t see any parking signs. These charges are extortionate, and unfair, and the letters demanding payment extremely stressful.
We are very angry as a family, we shop at S******* more than anywhere else. Spending £1000’s there each year. The cost of living increase is hitting us hard, and to get this through the door just before Christmas seems particularly cruel.
Disappointed customer,

My daughter a newly qualified driver at the time, was on a break from her job in sainsburys in the same retail park. She drove to McDonald’s and rather than go through the drive through as she only had a short break she parked to the side. She did this on two occasions in October a weeek apart. She saw no signs. Only on getting the letter did she realise it was McDonalds service yard.
Wondering, is it ok to say it was my daughter driving to the manager of the retail park?0 -
