Parking fines

Hi,
I’ve had a ‘letter before claim’ and followed the advice here asking the parking company to show me all the evidence they have, and the solicitors for more time.
I want to write to the retail park management too, but am us sure what to say. I know in Scotland we are advised not to say who the driver was. The fine is regarding two ‘offences’ back in October 2021.
My daughter had just qualified as a new driver and I had insured her on my car for a month. She was working in Sainsburys in said retail park, and on her break drove to McDonalds, still in the park. To avoid the queues she parked at the entrance (the service yard we later discovered) for ten mins or so, she did this twice over the course of a week.

We ignored the letters we got, as I read up about it being more expensive for the company to take you to court. So I was surprised and shocked to get the letter before claim through the post last month…still hoping it’ll be dismissed.
Anyway, I want to write to the retail park management, and wondered would I say that it was a newly qualified driver not giving her name, or should I not mention the driver at all?
She saw no signs and didn’t think she was doing anything wrong. The fine is now £320
incidentally I got another letter from debt collectors this morning, regarding overstaying my time in the same retail park from April this year. That amounts to £160 now.
I haven’t the funds at the moment to pay these fines, but part of me feels the investigating and responding is taking up time when I could be earning (self employed single parent)
This makes me feel like paying the blessed thing when I can and let go of it!
Finally, if it goes to court, won’t I be under oath and have to name the driver?
I would really appreciate help wording the message to the retail park, so hopefully it doesn’t go that far!
thank you for reading this, in anticipation

A LBC, yet you are in Scotland? That's amusing.I haven’t the funds at the moment to pay these fines,This isn't a fine. No-one would pay this and certainly not in Scotland!
Show us the LBC. Is it merely a crap QDR one, or some other legal talking about the County Court system and threatening you with a process that you don't have in Scotland?
You don't need help on this thread about wording a complaint, given there a re literally hundreds of examples in Successful Complaints about PPCs (linked in the NEWBIES thread, the first hyperlink).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

thank you very much for your reply. It has put my mind at ease. I’m afraid I can’t find the LBC at the moment, but it was similar to the ones in the thread where others were posting theirs. When I locate it I’ll share a photo, it’s from CST solicitors.0

But enough people are conned by their drivel and pay them, thinking the sky is about to fall in on them. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
