It's a by-product from the drive to make everything mobile-centric, meaning PC users are a second-thought. There are ways and means to make the forum more palatable for PC users, but MSE don't like us posting it. Send me a PM and I'll tell you what I do.

@Jenni_D And yet when advising people on the Parking Tickets board, the regulars always advise people to use a computer rather than a phone to navigate the board.

MSE need to realise that mobile users are not the be-all and end-all of users. And there are forum & site platforms that can work for computer and mobile device users effortlessly. They just need some investiment in terms of money and time.

@MothballsWallet the main reason for that advice on the Parking board is the sheer volume of information - a mobile device isn't ideal to read, digest and understand what's there.
