But there is almost always a DPO email address on any company's privacy page.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes lex lease are the correct company.

There's no email address that it came from so I'll have to write to their generic business email if I can find one if it exists, I'm sure it'll get ignored.

Para 12 of the PoFA refers to "statutory instruments", for example, advertising consent requirements for signage.

Paras 13 and 14 of the PoFA specifically refer to hire vehicles.

    You haven't answered this question,

"What have Civil Enforcement Limited got to do with this?"

My computer tells me the weblink to this PPC on the BPA ATA website is unsafe and insecure, as does any attempt to find the company website using an internet search engine.

This site however does give DPO information, assuming it is the same company, which it may not be: -

had to check to find the civil enforcement ltd line .. well that's a mistake too, should be Workflow Dynamics, and paragraph 13 and 14.

bit too late now i suppose as i'd already sent the letter off. Is it worth making the amendments and resending?

    thanks

Yes. Since it came from you, it is personal data so you should ask for it to be erased and replaced with the correct data.

Keep copies of everything you send, and copies of all responses.

ok updated with your comments, and a separate letter that addresses the fact htey're not communicating with me direct as instructed.

just a thought - the 21 days to appeal ended on friday last week, would asking to erase the last and replace with a new letter be a problem with that timing?

    thanks

well well well, they rejected the appeal (not surprising)
    I appealed to popla

two weeks later - email to say they had responded to the appeal. . . i was getting nervous
An hour later another email saying they have reviewed my appeal documents and grounds and have cancelled the charge.

Thanks for all your help! one less £100 charge to pay to these unscrupulous w********
