Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone on this forum is having the same experience with their PIP review as I am.
My PIP award was due to expire Sep 2021 but was extend to June 2022 due to Covid. I received my renewal form in Sep 2021, this was completed and sent back to the DWP with all the relevant supporting evidence. DWP conformed receipt, and info was loading onto their system Oct 2021, Due to no contact from them within 17 weeks of receiving my forms it phoned them in Feb 2022 to be told the case manager could not make a decision on their own and my file was sent to be looked over by a "health professional". I was told this could be either a face to face or paper only assessment and this could take up to a further 16 weeks.
As June started to approach and I still had no response from the assessment provider, I called the PIP help line and was told there are severe delays regarding assessments and they have idea when they will get around to me. I was told my payments would still continue,
Is anyone else having this issue?

Sounds perfectly normal at at moment because there's huge delays with all reviews. They've been concentrating on new claims for quite sometime.Your exisiting award will continue as normal until a decision's been made on your review, which is a very good thing. Nothing more you can do but wait.1
