It's No 3 that's concerning. Even more concerning is that when I did log into my online account, there was a message saying something similar at the first page, soon after I log on, and then usually where I click - my accounts, it says confirm details.
Has anyone else had this?Thank you for posting this message. My mum also got this email. We logged into her account and checked all the personal details. There were no details to change. There was no 'Submit' button to click, which was worrying.I plan on visiting a Santander branch to ask them about the email and the lack of a Submit button. But there is some comfort in knowing that others got the same email. If you had no changes to make, you just closed the pop up by clicking on the x in the top right corner. I agree, they could have made this somewhat more obvious, and the email gives duff instructions, but I don’t agree that any of this is worrying. You can also review, and update, your details any time you like, using their chat bot.1 -
Thanks Daliah. (I did try quoting your message, but it got too complicated deleting the sections I didn't want). My mum and I logged onto the website a few days ago to check this out. But there was no 'Submit' button at any time. There was no popup as far as I remember.Unfortunately the email specifically said there would be a Submit button irrespective of whether changes were made or not.You are right, it could be a duff email that was not proof-read, or all possible variations not tested before it was sent out. However if I remember, I will check it out with Santander next time I am in town.0
