Lebara sim problems
I tried putting a Lebara sim in an old mobile phone that had an expired PAYG Sim in it.
However my new SIM card seemed to conflict with an old number in the phone.
After trying with a replacement Sim card with no better result I asked to cancel the £5 plan
that you need before you can activate the card.
I had a poor connection to my Virgin network, that was not very good.
Although Lebara has a Chat page it appears not to be connected to anyone.
For service you have to ring the International Help number replacing +44 with 020 or else you get on to a private house number.
I have not used any minutes or data so Lebara have agreed verbally to a cancellation and a refund which, I hope will go through.
As a result of these problems I thijnk it best to avoid and try 1pmobile instead which is cheaper and also offers
a £5 bonus if you have 2 phones or refer a friend.

What's the make and model of phone?
Please give more information about "new SIM card seemed to conflict with an old number in the phone".
Why do you think a 1p Mobile sim will work when the Lebara one didn't?1 -

PS dialling +442070310791 or 02070310791 will connect to the same number.====1 -

Can't say why it works on 1pmobile but I found Lebara help difficult to manage.
1pmobile site design is much clearer and easy to understand.0 -

Could be Vodafone signal is not very good in your area.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -
Could it be that Lebara runs on Vodafone and 1p mobile runs on EE so you just had signal problem?

Yes, it could be. Originally it was on Virgin, which is O2 I think (not sure), until I got a Samsung on GiffGaff and negected Prestigio for 15 years. No reason to retire it as it is really well made East European (Czech) make, but has it has no repair Agents in UK now.
Problem is Android is 4.1 and no means to update it. But it makes a fine spare phone. Some videos I made years ago still there and working in full sound and colour after charging phone up!0 -
Nothing wrong with getting old phones working (I've got a couple older than this that still work) but I wouldn't add any of my current email, etc accounts to them, the OS's have had no security updates for over a decade and are vulnerable.
Be a good idea to get those videos backed up too.1
