Which bank are you with and do they use the standard six digit sort code and eight digit account number format?0

I have experienced the same trouble trying to complete the EU261 form - I cannot enter Bank Name or Country of Bank. Emailed Ryanair and was told I had filled in the wrong form … then gave me a link to exactly the same form with the same issue.Managed to get past the useless Chat Bot and chat to a human who told be to fill in form using Google Chrome and ‘Incongnito’ (which I’d never heard of) but still couldn’t submit form. The form also asks for IBAN code and BIC which I do have but I don’t think is readily available to most people. Are Ryanair purposely making the EU261 Claim Form difficult to complete in the hope that customers give up?I’m waiting for a reply to another email to customer services after all these issues?Money Savings Experts can you help?0

There's some discussion about how Ryanair validate IBANs, and therefore how to improve your chances of submitting something compatible with their expectations, at:

You need to give RyanAir the IBAN/BIC details if they are asking for this and you want them to pay you. This is the method international overseas businesses will transfer money.
Take a look at these to check the information you plan to supply is correct. On occasions the local branch identifier needs to be amended to the bank main office one.https://www.ibancalculator.com/iban_validieren.html

I can’t get to start filling in the claim form can anyone help?
my flight from London to Newquay was cancelled after we had checked in and were lining up to board. I made my own way home. When I try to open an EU261 claim it lets me enter my booking details, comes up with the right flight. Then when I click the boxes to select the flight and passenger it tells me I have entered the wrong information and cannot proceed. I tried customer services who told me tomuse a different claim form but this is rejected when I submit as ‘you have used the wrong form’ and I’m redirected back to the one that doesn’t work
I have also tried emailing but this doesn’t work and I just get a standard reply
in addiction I have tried to remove my flight refund from the ryanair wallet where it was deposited but it hasn’t arrived in my account a week later0 -

I tried using a different bank account (Barclays instead of First Direct) and bingo! It recognised that account and automatically filled in the bank name and country.
So try emerging a different account.
