    @Coupon-mad...one quick question please.
Do I have to print the WS first, sign it and then email it as a scanned copy or can I copy and paste on the email itself and sign electronically (as in, no wet signature)
    Thanks

No you can't put it in the body of the email, as that would be alterable text.  It must be a PDF saved & attached.  Plus all your exhibits of course.

But the PDF can include a cropped/resized photo of your signature under the statement of truth.

  • Easiest way is to take a photo of your signature and add it to your document before your save it as a pdf

Can I see exhibit 03? I am trying to adapt this WS.
That exhibit can be found in a dropbox file posted by @SoJacob earlier this afternoon.

But equally easy, the whole of the Beavis judgment can be found on the internet - just type beavis judgment into google - where you can select the paragraphs you want/need.
The difficulty I have is that I don't know which paragraphs I want or need. User Asd345 has just written  "ParkingEye Ltd v Beavis [2015] UKSC67, (exhibit 03)"

Which is why I pointed you towards @SoJacob's witness statement and evidence, where you will see exactly which paragraphs you need.

Thank you. As far as I can see it's paragraphs 98, 193 and 198.
  • Very well done on your win. Hopefully with your help in commenting on the forthcoming Public Consultation on the new Code of Practice people in the future won’t have to go what you have been through and these scam practices will stop.

    Hi
Just an update to this thread.

Received a letter today from BW advising that they're discontinuing this claim.

Huge thanks to #coupon-mad, and everyone else who helped me out.

My advice to anyone going through similar situation is to NOT to give up. They wanted £850 from me, not only they didn't get a penny but probably lost some money on court fees etc.

    All the best :)

Don't go yet.  We neeeeed people like you!  One more task please, to help change the law and stop this toxic litigation culture.

    First:

    Woohoo!  Well done, @Asd345

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

And we sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Government Public Consultation?

We anticipate it will be open very soon.

We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA & roboclaim 'solicitors' gaslighting of people.

Just checking you are among those ready to respond to the questions as you have personal experience of how this crap feels?

Please come back here when it opens, and you can make sure you don't miss the Consultation:

If you are not a regular reader, to be alerted you'll need to bookmark the thread by MSE_JC at the top of the forum and enable (on your profile) email alerts for bookmarked threads.

Then join us when the Consultation opens, pleeease!
