Does anyone have any issues with MyCSP as I’ve been trying for a long time to get a copy of my deferred civil service pension statement but nothing. I got a response via email months back to say it was going to be arranged for it to be sent to me in the post but nothing came and I’ve sent two emails already. Is it worth calling them now as I need to quite importantly. Thanks for any insight.

Are you able to sign up to the Civil Service Pension Portal? You should be able to download a statement electronically. Maybe that's what they are expecting you to do.

It doesn't look like deferred pensioners can do that.Bravepants said:Are you able to sign up to the Civil Service Pension Portal? You should be able to download a statement electronically. Maybe that's what they are expecting you to do.

No there is no system for deferred members to be able to, as far as I am aware, access their statement electronically. I think my only option is to ring really or write a letter.0

Presumably your Civil Service pension will just increase each year by CPI inflation (from previous Sept) in deferment. If you have a statement from when you left the scheme, it should be easy to calculate the value of your pension now by applying the annual CPI increases. Most pension administrators will not issue annual statements in deferment, unless you specifically request them.Of course this does not mitigate the annoyance of not being able to obtain a statement from MyCSP.

I think you will need to call them - I sent my partial retirement paperwork to them by recorded delivery on 1st July and when I called them 2 weeks later the girl I spoke to asked for the tracking number then put me on hold while she went to the post room to look for it! She came back and said she had found it and would be passing it onto the relevant team so I guess they are still playing catch up.0

They have notoriously poor customer service, keep your expectations of them very low and you'll be less disappointed."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "1
