MSE name being used in scare tactics again?

This is a company using MSE information to (IMHO) scare people into selling their home quickly at a discount when the property market is going rather well.

I received an addressed letter today informing me that there was ‘under 50 years left on the leasehold of your property’, with multiple references to MSE pointing out the rising costs involved for lease extensions as the period shortens.

They kindly offer to assist by discussing the options available, if I decide that selling is the best option they can help as they state 'Mortgage companies won't give potential buyers a mortgage to buy your house' and finish with (in bold capitals) ‘If you rent this property it is imperative you pass on this letter to your landlord’.

Looking up the company, WMT property (14015687), shows they’ve not been in business long.

Scare tactics or not if you’ve got less than 50 years on your lease you do need to look at resolving that asap.

Scaremongering or using a credible source to indicate 50 and below id troublesome. MSE is a public domain and people can use their guidance to correlate their business. They aren't using the MSE platform to tout for business that is a no no.
