Is it weird that I am gutted I don’t get to have my say?I wouldn't lose too much sleep over that. In most cases the Defendant isn't given the opportunity to 'have their say', which could easily deteriorate into a rant. The Judge wouldn't allow that to happen and would keep tight control - you'd get short shrift if you did launch. A discontinuation is a win, and yes, ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST. Well done on seeing this one through. 👏Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
