sim only Android
Options
First of all I do not know much about mobiles.
My Moto G5 is breaking down and I need a replacement:
-an Android
-over 6.0 (some apps require that, and I think Google does for back-up)
-around £180
-I use a Sim only montlhy contract (I have Lebara because I need free minutes to call abroad)
I use it for whatsapp, phone calls, pictures, some files downloading, google searches. I haven't got too many apps (for instance no games).
I'm sure I'm not providing all the info you might require. Please ask for other necessary details.
And any suggestions about selling the old one to shops for recycling? (And how to do it in a safe way).
Thanks so much.

If you were happy with the G5, there are Motorola G series phones at and below your suggested price point.

Be careful with the Moto G series as although you will get them with Android 6+, some still run a 32 bit version of Android (on a 64bit capable processor) which will still limit some apps from being installed. This is mainly the cheaper versions (same goes for Samsung for example).
So make sure any phone you get is running the 64bit OS.0 -

My wife and I both had Moto G5 and upgraded in series, so I now have G7 Power and my wife has G9.
Can't think of any reason to deviate from the series when we get to the next renewal.
As the OP likes the current Moto G5, very logical to keep with it0 -

I need to understand how to compare them and how to compare to the g31 mentioned earlier.Look on https://www.gsmarena.com/ I think you can select up to three phones to compare.I have the Moto G31 which works fine, apart from the fact that I keep pressing the mute button against my face when on a call! 😡
