@patient_dream is there a way I could ask them for costs of writing my supporting case? I don’t need it and would give the money to charity and would be great to give them a taste of their own medicine.

Ask who? You'd need to sue in the courts. Waste of time.narcus said:@patient_dream is there a way I could ask them for costs of writing my supporting case? I don’t need it and would give the money to charity and would be great to give them a taste of their own medicine.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

It's not a "case" it's a two bit parking company that sent you an invoice, you followed the procedure and thankfully against the odds beat them, job done. You won't get anywhere, rejoice in the satisfaction you beat them at their own silly game and cost them at least a small amount, best move on.4 -
Thanks for your help… it was worth asking the question to get a straight answer.

Hi OP! Fantastic result. You say no PCN on your windscreen so this means the parking company applied to the DVLA for your personal details.
Please consider sending the parking company a letter before action (email will do).
Dear Sir/Madam
You will be aware that my appeal against parking charge (insert ref) was upheld by the IAS. I am told that this is very rare and therefore my evidence must have been overwhelming. In light of the above, you should not have applied to the DVLA for my personal data and I wish to make a claim for breach of GDPR - Art 82. This whole process has been very stressful.
Could you please send a cheque in the sum of £300 to the address you hold for me.
Whilst writing, will you please confirm where hard copies of my personal data are held as I may need to visit to check it is secure.Once payment is made, you must delete any data you hold on me.Yours faithfully
If parking scammers do not respond, send a reminder in 10 days.
If you want to pursue, come back and let us know or DM me.All the very best, Zhong1 -

Yes they applied for my (wife’s) info from the DVLA… I dare say the issuer was watching me unload my car whilst writing up the ticket, which I made reference to in my defence..
ok, as I say I don’t need the money and would really be doing it to stick it to them. It did take a reasonable amount of time (circa 2 hrs) to write my counter argument however.
I’ll let you know how I get on

@zhonguonuren also of note is the car park is not for a shop or public space… it’s for a residential close off a residential street (My Father in Law lives across the road and is given permission to use temp permits from the residents) when I come to visit him… I only use it when council restrictions are in place on the road he lives on (to 18:30 weekdays).
basically the “close”residents seem to have set it up after being fed up of people parking there and going to work in central London for the day… angle the overzealous operators will now do anything for a pound note.1 -
It’s worth a shot. I won by default against Apcoa 😃 so let me know if you wish to pursue - in the likely event of no response. In any case, thank you for updating us. It’s still a great result being in the coveted 4%!2
